Hey there! I'm Nimesha Jinarajadasa, and I'm here to take you on a journey through the exciting world of tech! I used to spend my days coding at IFS R&D(Senior Software Engineer)
Skills & Experience
My journey in tech started off as a software engineer, mainly working with C#. But as I grew, so did my skills. I found myself diving into projects that involved Angular for the frontend, Java for the middle tier, and Oracle for the backend. Also, I moved to complex R&D projects to work on React frontend project for workflows handling using the Camunda engine. Alongside coding, I started delving into the world of DevOps, tinkering with Bitbucket pipelines and getting my hands dirty with daily maintenance tasks and troubleshooting. Managing bare metals and VMs soon became second nature to me. π οΈ
Recently, I’ve taken on a new role as a leader in the DevOps and cloud space. Now, as a JuniorΒ Cloud & DevOps Solutions Architect, I’m all about containerization, orchestration, and handling infrastructure across different cloud providers. I began my tech journey at Virtusa Pvt LTD , where I developed foundational skills that paved the way for my role as a Software Engineer at IFS R&D International Pvt Ltd. My DevOps journey involved mastering Bitbucket pipelines, daily maintenance, and managing infrastructure , leading to my current role as a Junior Cloud & DevOps Solutions Architect at KodeKloud. As the only Sri Lankan in this position, I focus on containerization, orchestration, and cloud infrastructure . I'm deeply involved in the Sri Lankan tech community, offering workshops and mentorship to help others excel in DevOps and cloud technologies .
